Because of a lunch meeting today, I ate at a Chili’s for the first time in years. I ordered an eight dollar burger — the Southern Smokehouse Bacon Cheeseburger — which was very good and so big that it was almost worth eight dollars. (Disclosure: I only ate one of the massive strips of bacon that came on the burger.) I’ve never been a fan of chain restaurants (Applebee’s, Ruby Tuesday’s, Chili’s, etc.) so I was pleasantly surprised.

If you ever find yourself eating at Chili’s, whatever the reason, try the Southern Smokehouse Bacon Cheeseburger. And promise me you’ll sing the Baby Back Ribs jingle at least once.
